THE STUDIO
TWO DISCIPLINES.
ONE STORY.
CAELUM IS AN
INDEPENDENT
POLITICAL FILM
STUDIO.
We founded CAELUM around a shared conviction: political filmmaking can be better.
More human.
More cinematic.
More disciplined.
More honest about the people at the center of it.
We bring story strategy and filmmaking together from the beginning — not as separate steps handed from one vendor to another, but as one creative process.
The result is work designed not merely to communicate, but to be remembered.

STORY
MEETS
CINEMA.
CAELUM exists at the intersection of two disciplines.
One begins with narrative — finding the idea, language and human truth capable of moving an audience.
The other begins with cinema — translating that idea into image, performance, sound and emotion.
Neither comes second.
The story shapes the film.
The film reveals the story.
Together, they become CAELUM.

ELLIOTT BOTTORF
Story / Strategy
Co-Founder
Elliott leads CAELUM’s narrative development — listening first, then finding the human idea at the center of every project. He shapes the concepts, language and story architecture that give each film a life beyond a single campaign cycle.
JONATHON GOODRO
Director / Filmmaker
Co-Founder
Jonathon leads the translation from idea to image — directing performances, framing, light and sound so each film feels precise, human and cinematic. His focus is on instinct, rhythm and visual storytelling rather than technical spectacle.

THE BEST WORK
HAPPENS WHEN
STORY AND IMAGE
ARE NEVER
SEPARATED.
CAELUM
LOOK UP.
CAELUM is a reminder to look beyond the immediate frame — to hold a wider view of people, place and time. It is about making work that feels larger than a single moment, and stories that can stand at a different scale than the news cycle around them.
